Too Long
“In this moment in time
I am trying to rhyme
All of these thoughts into a song
it’s been too long my dear…”
Too Long is a Small and intimate folk ballad,
about longing for someone far away.
I wrote it one night, while I was trying to overcome those feelings.
When I recorded it, I decided to keep it as pure and simple as it was written - just me and my guitar.
The song is holding a private moment that anyone can relate to - missing a loved one for too long.

In this moment in time
It is almost a crime
That you are not here in my arms
In this beautiful night
I am hoping you might
Be looking at the same sky
It’s been too long, my dear I
t’s been too long
It’s been too long
Sitting here on my own
Searching for the right words
But it's so hard to explain
In this moment in time
I am trying to rhyme
All of these thoughts into a song
It’s been too long, my dear I
t’s been too long
It’s been too long
